premier organization for marketing and communications professionals in
the region, the Erie Advertising Club is changing its name, increasing
its reach and strengthening its vision as it becomes the Advertising
Federation of Northwestern Pennsylvania.

"In
a business as dynamic as ours, it's absolutely critical to keep our
membership organization fresh and current," said Rebecca Styn,
president of the Advertising Federation of NWPA. "Our new name and logo
reflect a strong commitment to increasing the Ad Fed's reach by
encouraging participation by professionals from across Northwest
Pennsylvania while continually enhancing our programs and services to
help us all keep up with this fast-paced industry."

The
Federation's new logo, programming, upcoming events and membership
options will be announced Wednesday, August 27 during "Brews &
Dues", a special event at The Brewerie at Union Station (123 W. 14th
Street) in Erie beginning at 5:30 p.m. The event is open to individuals
in any industry with an interest in media, advertising or marketing
communications.

"In
addition to learning about the Ad Fed, the 'Brews & Dues' event
will offer a unique networking opportunity for the region's advertising
and marcom professionals," Styn added, "not to mention an opportunity
to enjoy The Brewerie's tremendous hand-crafted beer, Pennsylvania
craft beers and local wines."

Interested individuals are asked to RSVP by Aug. 22 to 814.451.8677 or online at afnwpa.org

Media Note:
This
event is open to media coverage — interviews and visuals will be
available, including a high resolution logo. Members of the media
covering the event are also invited to learn more about the Advertising
Federation of NWPA's membership options.
